Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Pinpal Notes, Pinpal Projects and Pinpal Todo and their services. By using them, you agree to them. This is a plain-language text, not legal advice.

The service

Pinpal is provided by Portfoliobox Stockholm AB ("we"), org. no. 556894-4382, Rånövägen 30, 168 39 Bromma, Sweden. Each Pinpal app keeps what you write (notes, projects and tickets, or todos), syncs it across your devices, and, if you choose, lets an AI assistant you connect read and write it.

Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping access to that account, and for the assistants you connect and the tokens you create. You can revoke any connection in the app.

Free plan, subscription and free month

Each app is free for up to 20 active items: 20 notes in Pinpal Notes (archived and deleted notes do not count), 20 open todos in Pinpal Todo, and 20 open tickets in Pinpal Projects, across any number of projects. On the free plan you can read, edit, export, archive, close, check off and delete without limit; only adding an item past the limit needs a subscription, and that limit applies to a connected AI as well.

Each app's subscription is separate, at $1.99 a month (19 kr in Sweden; local prices follow the App Store), with the first month free, and it removes the limit. It renews monthly until you cancel. Payment is charged to your Apple account, and you manage or cancel it in Settings; cancelling stops the next renewal. When a subscription ends, the app goes back to the free plan: nothing is deleted or locked. Trials and billing are handled by Apple under Apple's rules.

Your content

What you write is yours. We claim no ownership of it. You are responsible for what you store and for not using the service for anything unlawful. A connected AI acts on your instructions; check what it writes.

Availability and disclaimer

We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is", without warranties. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Ending

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or break these terms.

Law

Swedish law applies, without limiting the consumer protection you have where you live.
